What should I bring?

Shoes, sunscreen, hat and water bottle. We can supply racquets to try. We also sell suitable racquets for all students. Please see one of our friendly staff for a fitting.

How are groups determined?

After your first lesson we will assess age and ability and guide you to the best option to get the best outcome for you.
We aim to group students by age and ability and group dynamic.

Can Parents watch?

Absolutely, parents are encouraged to watch, however we ask that parents do not enter the court unless requested by the coach. You, can also drop your child at the centre for their lesson and they will be supervised. Students are encouraged to practise and warm up while waiting for their lesson.


Do I need to be a member?

Yes. Cessnock Tennis Club is a not for profit organisation so we rely on your memberships to upkeep the facility and to purchase new equipment. Please join at www.cessnocktennisclub.com

What happens if it rains?

We will do everything possible to run our program. However weather may force us to cancel. Decision on weather is normally made 20min prior to the lesson commencement.

Who is Ezidebit?

We have engaged Ezidebit to process credit card and bank account transactions on our behalf. The name Fitness Newstead will appear on our bank statement or credit card statement as the billing agent.


What happens in school holidays?

The first week of every school holidays we offer a program. Normal program lessons will cease and all payments placed on hold.

How do I cancel my enrolment?

We hope you don't. Tennis is a game that takes more than a few terms to learn and play with confidence, but if you follow the pathway you will want to stay playing tennis for a lifetime.
If you would like to cancel, you must put your instruction in writing. It is not sufficient to notify your coach or leave messages via phone or counter staff.

When will the payment come out of my account?

The payment is processed on the day you attend a class.
